I havent yet done a euro track day and am desperate to pop ones cherry.
Just cant afford to do one this year but this looks very very tempting indeed.
How much is the deposit to secure a place on this.

I'm pretty sure that I'll be on this again this year. Just need to wait until I've got a little bit more cash and confirm what the race dates are for early next year.

It was excellent preparation for this season's racing.

To be fair, yes lol. I've had to do a bit of that. And a fair bit of drinking, which this was also good practice for

Alcarras, went there back in 2010 its a great track would love to go back again might be up for this one.
Nice change to ride a track which is run anti-clockwise.
My favourite section, over the far side when you have a +180 degree left hander then over the hill and down into a mega fast left hander, got it all bottoming out at over 120 mph cant help but wont a whole lot more!!
Roll on next year

I have booked onto this , being my first european track day i wondered if anyone had any pics , advice, experience about the crates the bikes go in and how much stuff you can fit in them?
And indeed any gems i may have overlooked.
i kind of expected to fit bike, tires , leathers , lid , boots and a few tools?

thx in advance

you got it really - so far on all the ones i have used we have got tools , couple of deckchairs (not the seaside wooden type) leathers , boots , gloves , helmet, tyre warmers paddock stands and spare tyres - spare wheels are normally a squeeze and depending on the pallet may or may not fit so i just take spare tyres and one of us takes the tyre changing gear . but there a good laugh -well we always try and make it so anyway.

Yep, as above, dont take big boxes, stick everything into soft holdalls and mold them around the bike, you can get everything you need on, no worries :)

I have a £100 deposit paid on this but for various reasons I am unable to go.

Not sure whether it can be name changed or not?
