Hi Stef, thanks for the great set-up of my ZX10R suspension today at Oulton. Transformed the bike.
Sorry my feed back was less than technical but "fecking brilliant" just summed up how pleased I was.
Thanks again mate.
There's nothing queer about Hornets even the bars are straight.

Hi Andrew thumbsup Cheers mate, getting better all the time and feeling stronger as each day goes by. I'll be back for the OMCC dates this year and I'm already back out on track. So, thank you mate, it's lovely of you to ask after me.

Saw TG yesterday at Cadwell. He was in good spirits and apart from walking with a stick he looks as normal as he ever has.

Steff wanted me to report how well he is doing and that he will be back working trackside in September sometime.

just a quick update to thank people for their continued support. Stef is now back at home, undergoing some recovery - biscuits and tea no doubt funny

still got a long way to go but he is much happier being at home.

thank you again for the donations which will certainly help them during the recovery period whilst they (claire :D) plan their future out. Feel free if you get any spare shackles to paypal it to tdriders@gmail.com, the 400 which has been raised to date will certainly help out and take some of the pressure off.

TDR with the support of RevCounter members have clearly made their support and best wishes known. Thank you all thumbsup

Don't get all excited this is Claire not Stef but I have finally managed to break into pretty much all of his accounts now!!

I can't thank you all enough for your donations, we are both proud people who are used to helping others not asking for help but I was told by a very good friend of ours to accept everything that is offered and he was right, this is going to be a very tough time for us. Tyres 4 Bikes is our main income and we were just about to start our busiest month on track that builds up our winter fund because for some strange reason you lot don't like going round in circles in the snow, I can't think why!! LOL

I am (sort of) keeping the mail order side running and once he is home and I'm not travelling I can get that fully up to speed again, I know we are not always the cheapest source for tyres mainly because we have a physical business with associated costs rather than a virtual one. For the £300 you guys have sent me I would need to sell at least 15 tyres and that £300 wouldn't be profit it would then be used to run the business so as you can see margins in the UK are tiny.

Once Stef is home he has a lot of physio and rehab to do but you'll be pleased to know that as of yesterday his memory was all back in the right order and he was quoting tyre pressures at me and he got them all right. So if any of you owe him anything be warned, he'll remember :)

We certainly won't be on track in August and early September and when we do get back you'll find me doing more of the fitting, etc. but don't panic I won't be doing your suspension because it's voodoo magic that I just don't get, I could however just have a go after watching YouTube if you like ;)

Can I ask that any queries you have, even tyre pressure questions can you email them to me at tyres4bikes@gmail.com I will gladly answer them because even if I'm a girl I'm actually pretty good at it. I hope we will be able to start up the suspension servicing again soon as the physio said it will help him to be doing routine movements, again I am around and can also do a lot of the manual stuff.

Thank you all so very much

Claire xx

I saw this on stefs Facebook page the other day. GWS soon mate, you've saved me a fortune in the past with some great tyre advice and always provided a great mail order service.

A small donation will be made in the next few minutes.

there is a theme here that he eats alot of biscuits!

Claire has sent me a message today to say that Stef is overwhelmed with the response and support that has been shown. They will be facing a struggle no doubt in the short term whilst things try to get back to some level or normality. TDR donations have had some additional support from therevcounter who are also donating into the TDR account.

Parking, fuel and immediate needs I should imagine will be eased by the donations of £300 to date. Although I fear the biscuits may require us to continue the assistance.

Thanks to all those that have helped out, all of the best wishes and notes are being passed on, please do continue the donations where you can £1, £2 £10 it all helps.
