Just got back from the dyno with the ER6.

Engine was built at RMKD and was making 77bhp (69bhp on ours) on their local dyno.
It finished at 79bhp on our dyno, so approx. (88bhp on the original dyno) either way we are pleased with the results.

We have fitted our bored throttle bodies & velocity stacks, modded the airbox, retimed the cams to our own settings and reflashed the ECU with the Woolich Racing equipment.

Blue line is after our work, red line is as the bike came to us.

Thanks Keith, we worked hard on this but it's been worth the effort I think.

All parts used are available from us including cams, throttle body boring & velocity stacks, flowbench developed heads & blueprinting.

We can flash customers ECU for them or sell the kit to do their bikes at their local dyno.

Dyno setup also available here.

Kind regards

Rich

Rich

Was the bike making 69hp on standard throttle bodies, just cams and a system?

Trying to work out which gives the best increase for your money?

Cheers!

Hi Chris, it came in with Kent cams, ported head, race exhaust can but standard system and stock airbox. 69bhp and dropping like a stone after 9000rpm.

We removed the airbox and still 70-71bhp and dropping like a stone at 9000rpm

We got 80bhp with bodies and stacks + reflash but it still dropped like a stone after 9500rpm.

All the same parts on the engine except our cam timing instead of the kent cam figures, our throttle bodies and stacks and our ecu flash,  gave 79bhp and holds on really well, much faster through the revs too and in crap wet weather/low pressure on dyno so will easily be 80-82bhp here in normal weather (mind you this wet seems the new normal!).

The throttle bodies, stacks & mapping make the most difference and the airbox is terrible standard too.

Cam timing makes it hold onto it's power but these kent cams are not what I call "right" for the engine to be fair, I would have different ones made if I built the engine.

Kind regards

Rich
