2005 Yamaha R6 5SL - ex virgin cup

 

2005 Yamaha R6 - never been registered, race bike from new (an unused spare for the virgin cup in 2005), frame and engine numbers present and showing as never registered on hpi.

 

Very good all round condition, not tatty and tired.

 

The 2005 version has the USD forks and radial calipers/brembo front master cylinder as standard.

 

Bike will be standard apart from:

 

- Virgin cup race fairings

- race alloy front fairing bracket

- Harris DB screen

- Stomp grips

- Race air filter

- HRC expansion catch bottle for radiator

- Goodridge braided hoses front and rear

- SES crash bungs all round

- Rapid bike commander (better than power commander, setup by John Warrington Motorcycles North Yorkshire)

- Full Arrow race exhaust system (Ti headers)

- NRC engine casings

- YEC exhaust hanger

- Renthal 520 sprockets and Tsubaki chain

- Standard suspension setup by colin at 100%

- Carbone Lorraine race pads

- one track day since oil, filter and coolant change

- new head race bearings and rear shock linkage bearings pre season

- new clutch plates pre season

- fresh brake fluid

 

Quick, well handling and tidy bike, never had an issue with it. I've done 7 track days this year on it and the no limits races at cadwell where it went very well against new machinery. Wants for nothing.
