FOR SALE IS MY PRE INJECTION YAMAHA R6.
I BOUGHT THIS BIKE LAST YEAR AS IT WAS FITTED WITH THE MAXTON SUSPENSION THAT I WANTED.
THIS HAS NOW BEEN REMOVED AND FITTED WITH STD SUSPENSION.
BIKE HAS RACE HEAD AND CAMS.
HARRIS REARSETS.
SES RACE SCREEN BRACKET.
QUICK ACTION THROTTLE.
WAVEY BRAKE DISCS.
BRAIDED LINES.
RACE CAN.
ALMOST NEW BATTERY.
AIRBOX MOD.

TIDY RACE BODYWORK AND PAINTWORK.
I do have the green slip part of the dvla log book.
Engine/frame numbers all in tact.
Ideal wet bike or cheap track bike.
PRICE = £1100.
I wont be able to get it out for pics until mid next week.

Ive put it on my other pre injection bike.
That was the reason for buying this one,has some nice bits on,but i just wanted the suspension.

What is the "air box mod" you mentioned? I presume it will alter the air/fuel mix and therefore require the carbs re-setting?

Not really sure what it does mate.Ive heard a lot about it tho on these bikes.
Looks like there is a pipe coming from the front ram air intake,and from what ive been told it presurises the carb float bowls....i think!.

did it on mine paul when it was ran on the dyno after rebuild and race inlet cam and slightly raised comp ratio , 2 shortened inlet stacks .  104 rwhp
we couldn,t get any improvement with the air induction mod (with full system or stock headers and an end can)so took it back off.
i was gutted .. lots of people use it
