Posted on Behalf of a friend. PM me for pictures and I'll pass on his direct contact details. Hi Folks, I’ve decided to sell my Daytona track bike. I’m
not able to do the number of days to make it worthwhile having, and a daft low speed lowside
at Anglesey in May in the wet suggests I’m just not getting enough time on the bike anymore! I’ve
had the bike for 6 years, originally as a road & track bike, and since 2010 as a dedicated track
bike. It’s a great bike, and ready to get straight on track with. I’m up in Aberdeen and am ideally
looking for it to be picked up by the buyer, but there may be some opportunities to bring it down south
in the next month. Full details and pictures below. If there’s any
more specific pictures you would like then let me know. Cheers, Joe
Triumph Daytona 675 (2006). £2200 Track fairing. Gilles adjustable rearsets. HRC coolant expansion bottle. Stomp grips. GB Racing Clutch Cover GB Racing Generator/Alternator Cover GB Racing Lower Chain Guard GB Racing Timing/Pulse Cover R&G Racing Fork Protectors R&G Racing Cotton Reels Front sprocket = geared down from 16 to 15 teeth. Front forks & Rear Shock serviced and
revalved by K-Tech. Current Tyres - Dunlop GP Racer D211 Slicks (less
than 1 days track use). History: 12,390miles. Owned since 2009. Had a small low speed off at a mini roundabout in
2010. It was a total loss Category D due mainly to fairing damage. I bought it back off the
insurance and it became a dedicated track bike (SORNed). One low speed lowside in the wet at Anglesey in
May caused some minor cosmetic damage. Condition: Generally good. Track fairing a bit marked. Dent in tank (see photo). LH foot peg and rear cotton reel slightly worn
down (see photo). GB Racing Timing/Pulse cover scraped (see photo). GB Racing Generator/Alternator Cover and engine
cover itself scraped (see photo). Steering lock broken (attempted theft in 2009). Servicing: Key aspects of 12,000mile service have been done
including: - Rear shock linkage stripped and overhauled. - Coolant changed. - Spark plugs replaced. - New air filter. - Valve clearances checked. Regulator/Rectifier replaced as per Triumph
recall. Oil & filter changed regularly, more
frequently since used on track. Overhauled front brake callipers. Extras if interested: Daytona 675 inserts for ABBA stand - FREE Hobbsport Racing Tyre warmers - £30 Metzeler Racetec Wet Front
& Rear tyres (only used for 5 laps) - £150. Edited by TomG77 - 19 August 2015 at 12:57 |

Are you willing to sell the tyre warmers separately? I'd be interested if you would.

Fairing was from Race Products (http://www.race-products.co.uk). Their website isn't working at the moment, but you can see them on Demon-Tweeks. It was really easy to fit, with no additional brackets or anything required.
cheers, Joe
