Hi Chris, it came in with Kent cams, ported head, race exhaust can but standard system and stock airbox. 69bhp and dropping like a stone after 9000rpm.
We removed the airbox and still 70-71bhp and dropping like a stone at 9000rpm
We got 80bhp with bodies and stacks + reflash but it still dropped like a stone after 9500rpm.
All the same parts on the engine except our cam timing instead of the kent cam figures, our throttle bodies and stacks and our ecu flash, gave 79bhp and holds on really well, much faster through the revs too and in crap wet weather/low pressure on dyno so will easily be 80-82bhp here in normal weather (mind you this wet seems the new normal!).
The throttle bodies, stacks & mapping make the most difference and the airbox is terrible standard too.
Cam timing makes it hold onto it's power but these kent cams are not what I call "right" for the engine to be fair, I would have different ones made if I built the engine.
Kind regards
Rich
