Lets Talk Safety (Rain) Lights... As of next year it will be mandatory under ACU Regulations to fit one. We have looked at simple solution and not so simple solutions and have decided to go with a very capable and reliable mid-priced unit. ...The unit will come in three types and if FIM and ACU Approved: SL1 is self-contained re-chargeable light. It has a switch on the side and comes with a charger and the fixings so can be fitted in minutes and be turned on for example in the holding bay or when taking the tyre warmers off. £37 SL2 is hard wired but has no switch. This needs a switch on the handlebars and is for the TT regs which say the rider must be able to switch it on/off while riding. £35 SL3 is hard wired but has a switch on the light. So that would go straight from the battery via a fuse and be turned on for example in the holding bay or when taking the tyre warmers off. £35 90mm L x 75 mm w x 22 d. The switch in the picture is only an example of what a few customers have asked for and cost £13.99 Cheers Tony 079856 536 975 If you email/pm your contact details and postal address i'll get an invoice off to you. |
