Beautiful example of the original R1 (the mad one with the lively front end). I sold my track bike to buy this, partly because I need to start putting money aside for other things (track riding isn't cheap), and because it is a bucket list bike for me. But I just can't get on with road riding. So after only 4 weeks, she is up for sale again. Full details in the ebay advert, open to sensible offers:

Not a drunken one... But in hindsight, not a good one! I paid what I thought was a fair price for an immaculate example. I honestly think if I wait long enough I would get back what I paid, but I'm just not enjoying it, so I'm willing to take a hit to get rid of it. You win some and you lose some!

Got a very interested party coming up next week so with any luck it'll be away, and I can start shopping for a new track toy thumbsup

Very tidy bit of kit mate. MCN had a piece on these couple weeks back saying how awesome they are if you can find a clean one. Hope it finds a good home.

Im pretty sure that these, and Rizla replica k2 600 gsxr's will become very expensive collectors items within the next couple of years. ..
