I know this may sound like a really stupid question but will it work with standard fuel tank caps?

Also what size diameter is the nozzle to make sure will fit?

Are these ok for transporting the fuel in? I have a metal jerry can I use and wouldnt want to decant from one to other, I'd want to replace the metal one with one of these?

Hi Sorry only just seen your post.

They will fit with a standard filler cap, however they are designed for tanks that do not have the baffle plate in the filler neck. These are on all modern road bikes.

Yes they can be used for transporting fuel also. There is a sealing ring to stop the spring loaded filler neck from operating, alternatively they can be supplied with a normal cap so the filler neck can be used once at the circuit.
