Thought it'd be only fair to post this in here.

I've never been happy with the handling of my 2010 R1, it's always felt heavy and reluctant to me so I did abit of digging for info and I was given the contact details for a lad in Consett, co.Durham.

Long story short, I phoned him and he agreed to let me bring the bike up to him, turns out he uses this forum kylezx7r, he works out of his own garage at home so I wasn't sure what to expect if I'm honest but I rode the 50mins over to him anyway and he has sorted the bike out for me.
I didn't have the money to throw ohlins or ktech at it so he stripped the forks and fitted ohlins linear springs with ohlins 1309 oil and also fitted an ohlins Spring to the rear with an adjustable shock link.
He also set my sags for me and had a play about with the rideheight and what a difference. The bike is much much better it feels 30kgs lighter and I've now decided to keep the bike because of it.
