Bought this bike as a Cat C, but to be honest it should have been a Cat D looking at it's condition. The bike has been looked after and looked as though it had never seen rain. Damage was only cosmetic, side fairing, one headlight, air duct, front indicator, so an easy restore project. Decided to go for a new body kit (Chinese) Repsol colours with Stomp grips added, rather than wait for original fairing parts. So whats been done??
I always carry out a thorough job, so; Front End stripped, forks checked (all straight), head bearings greased and checked, front and rear wheels and discs checked (all straight) then front disc bobbins cleaned. Brakes completely stripped, cleaned and braided lines fitted with fresh fluids. Oil change with new K&N filter, new air filter, engine/gearbox is very sweet. Rear end stripped with suspension bearing greased, drive chain cleaned and lubed. This bike is spotless and ready to go. Just had a new MOT put on it yesterday and even the mechanic commented how clean it is. 12K miles on it, with full service history stamped up in service book. 2 Keys. V5. 4 owners from new. Excellent tyres. First one with £3800 takes it. This is a bargain, so no hagglers. PM me if serious about purchase, otherwise just oggle at will . |
