I've decided to sell my vivaro due to a combination of circumstances means it's no longer needed. Sad to see it go, has served me well in the 3 1/2 years I've owned it. Don't really want to sell, but I've been given a van for the year by a sponsor to use for racing, and we're having a baby in May so really I need something more family friendly. Anyway, I thought I'd put it up on here before any auction sites or Facebook messerplace as people know me on here and know I'm genuine..
Spec: 2004 Blue metalic paint 180k miles Twin door 2 seats in the back with seatbelts 1.9 engine Will come with 12 months MOT Tinted windows in the rear doors Upgraded radio and door speakers Always been looked after, it's my daily driver and has been treated as such. Has never wanted for anything and any faults have been repaired. Engine is spot on, starts first time, coils and injectors have no issues. Serviced every 5k miles It's got additional brackets put on the rear doors to attach padlocks Aftermarket alarm You can still fit a bike in the back with the seats in. I've had 600s and 1000s in there. The seat works well as a rest. I'll throw in a set of 4 BMW alloys it came on. The tyres wore out so instead I just put 4 standard wheels on with new tyres.
Since owning I have done: new steering pump New discs/pads Gearbox reconditioned last year with receipts Cambelt and water pump done late last year New gear select cables
Bad points Last year a woman pulled out on me and clipped the rear quarter panel, and the insurance company wrote it off as Cat N. I've seen worse carpark scratches, so I bought it back off them as I knew what the van had done and didn't want to go and buy some piece of rubbish! Happy to send photos of the damage, you'll laugh!
The key has lost both central locking buttons. I've been using another key to bridge the terminals as I just haven't really bothered to get a new key. Central locking all works fine though.
The engine light on the dash is on and showing an airbag fault, but I think it's a loose wire on the horn. As after the 'crash' when I'd smacked the horn at the stupid bitch who pulled out, the light went off for a few months. Probably an easy fix but it doesn't affect the running of the van in any way so I've just left it.
There's no service history. I bought it off my mate who's a mechanic (IC Autos St. Helens) and ex-racer as I know he wouldn't sell me rubbish. It's then been serviced by family and friends in the trade anytime it's needed anything.
All in, it's a great van. Like I said it's been used and treated as my daily and I'll be sad to see it go but needs must! For what I've spent on it to what I can sell it for, I'd rather keep it, but we just need something newer to move the family around.
Buyer won't be disappointed
