Dash has rev counter, gear indicator, lap
timer, shift lights, etc. This is easy to fit and looks great! Still have original box and will come with manual,
all wiring, lap timer button and speed sensor. I can also include the bracket I
used to fit it to my Kawasaki, in case it is any use. The excess/unused wires
were cable tied out the way when I fitted it, rather than chopped. More pictures available to email if required. Looking for £255, if no interest on here it
will go on ebay in a couple of days. Edited by Snap - 24 July 2014 at 15:41 |

Have replied to your PM, but just in case anyone else wants to know i'll post the info up here as well: I found it easy to fit, my bike had the race loom so less wires to worry about, though if i can do it most people should be able to! I had no previous experience with wiring/electronics. It's not plug and play as there aren't bike specific wiring kits available (to my knowledge). I spliced into the original loom and fitted some spade connectors for the Translogic, leaving the connectors for the original clocks still in place. I found it handy to be able to plug the original clocks in when calibrating the dash. It's just a case of identifying the correct wires to tap in to, i had a wiring diagram for the bike which helped. I think the thing to check is whether your bike will run without the original clocks plugged in, i believe some newer bikes don't. I can email the manual to anyone that would like to see the fitting instructions. |

very interested in taking that off ya mate! does it store your laptimes so you can check them when you come in? also if your on a quick lap does it indicate this with a light, like the starlane laptimer does?

I'm pretty sure it stores your laptimes until you reset them. This isn't a GPS based laptimer, you have to use the button, so nothing to indicate if you're on a quick lap.
Edit - Just checked the manual, it can store 99 laps before the memory is full. Edited by Snap - 24 July 2014 at 15:46 |

I've been getting a few messages with people making offers on this. The dash sold on ebay shortly after this post went up in July 2014!!
Getting more interest now than when it was actually for sale nearly 2 years ago

Hi Guys, I'm new 2 the forum so go easy!!! I'm currently in the same situation as the above thread as I have purchased a translogic md 1-2 and have no wiring diagram or instructions and I'm struggling to wire it up.
I don't suppose anyone has the wiring diagram/ instructions that they could send me? I'd really appreciate it if anyone can help! Many thanks Tim. |

Hi nozdog, thanks for the post. My dash didn't come with a wiring harness which is where my problem lies really, It does have 2 small oem looms that come out of the back of the dash where the harness would connect to. So it's the dash wiring diagram that I need. I hope this makes sense, I'm also going on what the/my garage are saying, He a ex racer and tt rider and knows his way round a bike but he's abit stumped with the wiring. He's spoke to translogic but they have lost the wiring codes for the early dashes!! Very helpful. Lol.
Ur input appreciated. Tim. |

Tim,
There's a picture of the universal loom in this thread, http://www.gixxer.com/forums/14-gsx-r1000-general-forum/277782-wiring-dash-diagram-gsxr-1000-k7.html it may help you. I think what you're after is the pinout for the dash. Try googling 'translogic dash pinout' and quite a bit comes up. I got the above thread by googling that. |

Hi John, thanks very much for the response, the pin out for the dash is exactly what I'm after! Ull have to excuse me because electrics aren't my bag... Lol. I've had a good search around on google but cant seem to find the pin out for the micro dash 1-2. Ive pm'd snap of here who I think has the wiring diagram for the dash but as yet I've had no response..... But fingers crossed he may get in touch. I don't suppose anyone knows him personally that could perhaps give him a nudge for me? Many thanks Tim.

Have you tried getting in touch with Translogic themselves? They're usually very helpful.

Hi trackdaybob, yes we've been in contact with translogic who have apparently lost all wiring diagrams for the early micro dash's!!!! Not what u expect to hear when u ring up, so we're snookered on that front, I'm just hoping that someone has the pin out for the dash saved somewhere.
Thanks for the input Tim, |

About as accurate as pushing the button on a stopwatch. Still one of the preferred methods by many at trackside. Being a tenth or so out isn't really that important in certain scenarios and when it becomes an issue you upgrade. Simples. |
